Stainless steel, which is highly resistant to rust (the weak point of ordinary steels), has been demonstrating its durability in such water-related fields as dams and floodgates, and also in a great variety of other fields including scientific applications and atomic power plants. As it also has excellent aesthetic qualities, a great deal of stainless steel has also come to be used in the construction field in recent years.
Our Company produces a wide array of steel grades and has achieved high dimensional accuracy. Our steel shapes, in particular, have been highly evaluated due to their quality, and we are proud that we have the largest market share not just in Japan but also globally.
As its maintenance-free characteristics have attracted keen attention, the use of stainless steel has been expanding in the construction field. We have set up our Stainless Steel AE (Architectural products & Engineering technology) Department so that we can propose new applications of stainless steel based on the large reservoir of know-how we have accumulated. |

Our Company has been engaged in integrated production from steelmaking to forging, and based on its advantage, we have greatly contributed to the weight reduction and enhanced performance of automobiles. We produce a wide variety of forgings, but we are especially proud of our competitiveness in crankshafts, ring gears and shafts.
Our Forging Plant boasts of being one of the largest factories in the world as a single integrated plant, and it also acts as a model plant for other Aichi Steel group companies that have expanded into North America, Southeast Asia and China.
We have set up our four regional production bases in Japan, North America, China and Southeast Asia and built up our supply chain.

We have many kinds of forging machines including hot forging presses, upsetters, automatic hot formers (high-speed forging) and ring rolling mills, and produce a wide variety of forgings. We have placed special emphasis on accurate cutting for high-accuracy forgings, optimum temperature control and enhanced accuracy in facilities and dies in order to meet a diversity of customer requirements.

Electro-magnetic products |

Our electro-magnetic products include MI Sensor, which is an ultra-small sensor that has achieved high sensitivity nearly 10,000 times more sensitive than any conventional magnetic sensors; MAGFIN, which provides the highest magnetic force in the world in terms of bonded magnets; and a dental attachment which is a rice-grain sized magnetic substance that generates a magnetic force of 600 gf. These are some of the products that have originated from our unique technology, of which we are very proud.
The electro-magnetic business segment that is in charge of these products is now being nurtured as the fourth pillar of our Company, and it holds the promise of rapid expansion judging from the market scale. Our Company will continue to positively take on the challenge of new business fields based on the strength of our “One and Only Technology”. |
