Growing a forest for the 21st century
Aichi Steel donated Tetsuriki Agri to Tokai City for use in the city's
project Planting Trees and Growing a Forest for the 21st Century. The
municipal government has been working on creating a city of greenery
and flowers, which we have been supporting. Tree planting and forest
growing are projects that aim to improve on the city environment and
preserve natural habitat, thereby leaving vegetation to the next
generation and providing land for refuge in natural disasters as well. |

Tetsuriki Agri is used to
promote healthy growth of these trees.

Serving as an eco-friendly solution
The 2005 World Exposition, Aichi, Japan in which we are taking part as
a member of the Toyota Group, is held in Aichi, the home of Aichi
Steel, from March 25 through September 25, 2005. Tetsuriki Agri is also
displayed in the exhibit of Toyota's new environmental technologies and
materials in the Toyota Group pavilion. Tetsuriki Agri, which energizes
plants to grow, is introduced as one of the eco-friendly solutions in
the effort to prevent global warming. |

Tetsuriki Marine helps
grow plankton in sea water, whereas Tetsuriki Agri was developed to
nurture plants and vegetables in soil.
